Funerals

Beautiful melodies played on The Great Highland Bagpipe are a wonderful tribute to a loved one.

A professional service:
Each funeral is approached with the reverence, and dignity it deserves and I provide a professional service and a personal tribute carefully considered and tailored to your needs.

Selection of Music
There are many lovely Scottish airs to choose from; here are my suggestions: -

Leading the cortège Rowan Tree
Playing the Coffin into the chapel Oft' in the Stilly Night
After the Committal Service My Home
(Four 4 tunes should be selected) Mist Covered Mountains
Sky Boat Song
Minglay Boat Song
Amazing Grace
Flower of Scotland
Dark Island
Flowers of the Forest
Final Lament

MacCrimmon's Sweetheart. This tune is a Piobaireachd* (the classical music of the Great Highland Bagpipe) written c1610 and I play this delightful tune whilst walking slowly away the music fading into the distance - a lovely and moving conclusion.

* Piobaireachd is pronounced "pee-brock"
